(B) The solution gives the reactions of ammonium salts.
3 Solubility It is freely soluble in water, sparingly soluble in ethanol (96%).
4 Appearance of solution Solution is clear and colorless.
5 Acidity or alkalinity Not more than 0.5 mL of 0.01 M hydrochloric acid or 0.01 M sodium hydroxide is required to change the colour of the indicator.
6 Bromates No blue or violet color develops.
7 Chlorides Not more than 0.6%.
8 Sulfates Not more than 0.01%.
9 Iodides The lower layer is colorless.
10 Iron Not more than 20 ppm.
11 Magnesium and alkaline earth metals Not more than 200 ppm, calculated as Ca.
12 Loss on drying Not more than 1.0%.
13 Sulfated ash Not more than 0.1%.

PACKAGING

MOLBROM™ AB is packed in HDPE bag and HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

The shelf life is 5 years. In an airtight container, protected from light.
