(A) After correcting for the blank, the absorbance is not more than 0.05.
(B) After 5 min, the sample solution shows a more intense greenish-blue color than the blank.
(C) The solution froths copiously when shaken.
(D) The principal spot of the sample solution is similar in position, color, and size to that of the standard solution.
(E) It gives the reaction of bromide.
3 Solubility It is freely soluble in water and in alcohol; practically insoluble in ether.
4 Residue on Ignition Not more than 0.5%.
5 Limit of Amines and Amine Salts If the curve shows two inflection points, the volume of titrant added between the two points is not more than 2.0 mL.
6 Appearance of Solution The solution is clear and colorless.
7 Acidity or Alkalinity Not more than 0.1 mL of 0.1 N sodium hydroxide or 0.1 N hydrochloric acid is required to change the color of the indicator.
8 Loss on Drying Not more than 2.0%.
9 Assay Not less than 96.0% and not more than 101.0% on the dried basis.

PACKAGING

MOLBROM™ CMB is packed in HDPE bag or HDPE drum with double PE liners inside having bar-coded label and tamper-evident seal.

SHELF LIFE, STORAGE AND PACKING

The shelf life is 3 years. Preservd in well-closed containers.
